From 2007 to 2010 the IRS had been giving my tax returns to Sally mae, (school Loan) now paid off..And I do now collect my returns. I average between $50,000 to $58,000 a year at my job(been at same job since 2007). I have a paid off truck that I purchased off craigslist. Im sorry for long read, But im really looking to turn my credit around! if anyone can help It will be greatly appreciated! again, I know my credit is terrible As I ordered my credit report wich I will post. My Score is a 404...(I know, I know. pathetic..

You need your full reports, from all three CRAs, in paper form. These reports can be obtained from the CRAs directly. They'll cost a few dollars, but the CRAs will have only 30 days to process disputes, rather than the 45 allowed for electronic communications. It's completely counter-intuitive in this day and age, but the paper reports are complete and have quicker processing time.

Don't do anything before you get those three paper reports. When you get them, come back here and get started. ;)

Hey. Don't feel ashamed. It's not a fair fight. In a few months you'll start getting the hang of it, and in a year you'll be helping others. :)

Welcome to CB! Don't run on the deck, it gets slippery when it gets wet.

Let me look up those numbers. You can call all three CRAs and buy the paper reports through an automated system. The three CRAs are Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion. BRB with those numbers.

While I'm too new to give advice, I did want to say this. Plenty of us learned the hard way by making a giant financial mess at some point.

At one point in my 20s I screwed things up so bad that not only couldn't get a credit card, I couldn't even open a bank account. The only bank in town that would open an account for me was the one where my parents banked because the account representative said she knew my mother and would tell her if I ever had a negative balance or bounced any checks.

I don't think I will ever forget how humiliating that felt. The important part is learning and growing from the experience. Which I did... sorta. I never screwed up a bank account after that, but apparently I had to learn the hard way again in my 30s when it came to credit.

LOL, At least you were able to open that checking account :D

And to OP. I've seen way worse reports, and if you constantly read this site and work hard you'll be fine in about a year. But you do need your paper reports like they stated above.

Welcome to CB Yztrawlings35!

There really is no need to be ashamed of your credit. We all come here with the same objective and that's to fix it! At least you're taking the right steps now to repair it. :)

Like Ubercat said you definitely need to get paper copies of your reports and once you get them post here what's on them (leave out any identifying information). There a lot of great people here who know a lot and can guide you in the right direction. In the meantime, while you're waiting for you reports, you should read as much as you can. Part of credit repair should not only be fixing it but keeping it fixed. You're only going to be able to do that if you're knowledgeable and you're only going to be knowledgeable if you read.

I hope we hear back from you soon!

+1 to everything said above. I just wanted to ask though, where you got that credit score from?

I think most of us on this board have been ashamed of our credit at one point or another, so no judgment here, especially if you are willing to learn from your mistakes.
