Word on the street is Redbird is dead for CC loads on 5-06-2015.

Dan from DansDeals says he personally confirmed it with his local store manager. He's usually a straight shooter.

Let's hope its a false flag...

Looks like this person was right . . .

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up. I have the WORST timing ever, and I just today registered for a prepaid redcard purchased off Amazon. My real card should arrive in 7-10 days, so expect CC reloads to cease in about 6-9 days.

I apologize in advance. It's all my fault.

At least this will stop me from applying for sign up bonuses.

Why? :dntknw:

Because I won't be able to meet 2 or 3 signup bonuses in a 3-month span without M$.

And RedBird is the only way I M$ right now.

I'm looking around at other options, but still just looking for now.

Reloadable debit cards are just 1 technique.

One, albeit expensive option, is if you have someone you trust to send them funds via paypal, and then they give you the cash, write you a check, etc. You'll pay a 2.9% fee, but if the alternative is not meeting the minimum spend and missing the bonus is it well worth it.

I've seen a bunch mentioned, but Redbirds are the easiest, I'm sure, with just a single transaction.

Will probably test some places locally to see if I can get a MO or load Redcard with non-pin gift cards.

If CC load is dead, you'll need GCs with a PIN.
