Since my doctors will probably kill me on Friday, I'm thinking about getting supplemental insurance. But I don't want to take an exam or talk to anyone. I want one of those instant coverage things. And even though they'll be killing me, I want one of those daily benefit plans, not regular life insurance...........I'll find a way to collect the money from the great beyond.

Any ideas?

It would appear that there may be some jealousy of my resilience and ability to out-maneuver the grim reaper.

Oh, I'm not jealous. I would be heartbroken if anything happened to you.

And Breeze would be unconsolable.

I've never heard of the daily benefit type of insurance. Interesting.

Avoid your docs. They're making you sick!

Hospital indemnity, accident, critical illness insurance. You can purchase them with daily, weekly or monthly benefits. If you go monthly it's usually best to purchase disability insurance instead that pays in excess of SSD.

Nonmedical life is called guaranteed issue, typically limited to under 250k death benefits but some companies go higher. Many insurers require you live at least 31 days.

I know it was a joke thread but I felt like dropping some knowledge.
