I've made great progress getting some TLs off my reports. I'm in the process of starting the homebuying process, and Santander, NCB Management, and Credence Resource Management are the only things standing in my way. I've come to a stand still with this.

Situation 1: This is a collection account sold by AT&T Wireless. I was on a cellular plan with someone who bailed, but the account was never in my name, the contract was not produced with my name of social security number. This seems a little tricky, and I'm not sure how to go about this one. (Advice on how to dispute Credence Resource Management)

Situation 2: Santander sold my account to NCB Management, and I'm trying to see how to swing my way on getting it removed. I'm leaning more towards that PFD route, but I'm wondering if I should try some other tactics first. My DOFD seems to be different across the bureaus. One says May 2012, and other say June 2013. (Advice on how to start the dispute process on this one)

Any information will be helpful.

Any information will be helpful.

I did DV Credence in April 2014, and they sent me a bill showing a balance with my name on it.

I haven't DVd Santander yet. I went to re-review my report when I signed up with myFICO, and now all the bureaus are showing coordinating DOFD. The first DOFD on the TL is March 2012. Santander has an OC TL showing closed with a balance of 10682, but NCB has a balance of 9488. Other than that, I don't see anything else wrong with this TL.

You need to be working from the paper reports that can be ordered directly from the CRAs. 3rd party reports aren't reliable enough to dispute from. Purchasing them is generally best, as if you use your free one for the year, it gives the CRAs an extra 15 days to process your dispute. You can order them directly from the CRAs by calling their automated phone numbers and entering the requested information. The numbers are:

EQ: 800-997-2493

EX: 888-397-3742

TU: 800-888-4213

The cost varies by stated but they are about $11 each.
