Discover pulled EQ a month ago. I don't know what Sinclair pulled last fall, or State Farm last July. Synchrony (Erik's Bikes&Boards) pulled TU around then. Sunoco two summers ago. I believe that covers all INQS of the past two years.

I honestly don't know. Personally, I've never felt it overly important to my overall credit profile.

They're not that important. It's possible to maintain an 850 FICO in the 08 scoring models with a fresh inquiry.

I actually have a good question and I might even start my own thread about it. But my question is what is the relation between inquiries and accounts? For example:

You have:

10 inquiries

But only 6 accounts.

How are the other 4 inquiries (with no accounts associated with them) viewed upon applying for a card or manual review?

The explanations for having inquiries without corresponding accounts are usually:

1. Applying, being denied, and the remaining inquiry is from the denial.

2. Applying for a CLI on am existing account, and being denied (no corresponding CLI would show this, but this may not be so easy to see).

3. Applying for a card or CLI and then deciding not to proceed with the approval (if it isn't an instant approval).

Are these extra inquiries weighed at all? Are they weighed positively or negatively?

I would like to start a thread about the things on our credit reports that are less important, I'm just have trouble coming up with the initial list for my first post.

Inquiries carry some weight until they reach six months of age. Beyond that point they are negligible, if of any importance at all. At 12 months of age, they are totally unrelated to your current FICO score.
