I also logged into Barclays now and it's also showing for both my accounts " AAdvantage Aviator "

Now I'm just waiting for the physical cards

Mine is complete also. Let the devaluation begin. :(

At least AA miles are easy to get with signup bonuses and the eshopping portal.

I'm just glad to have the US Airways miles finally merged.

I'm glad that my previously-useless-to-me US Airways miles now have value, but I'm even more thankful that I've already booked reward travel with my AA miles for this summer.

Living in the DFW area, AA miles will always be the most flexible for me.

Maybe if they devalue awards soon you'll see the value in the flexibility of transferable points cards. :P

AA is the best airline for me from SAN, which is where more than half of my trips originate. They also have the best schedules out of MUD.

SWA has a sh/tl0ad of gates in San Diego, but as you know very few things trigger my gag reflex as violently as the thought of traveling that way. I'd take a hard look at Greyhound first.

Problem with AA is award availability. It is getting worse by the day.

I don't ever search for flights from Love Field for that reason. It's mostly SW.

That's certainly not unique to American.

Just a common place like LAS is murder. UA and SW both have availability for the same dates.

Mine haven't merged yet. I'm expecting this will happen soon though.

Question - does anyone know if my US air number will still work after the merger? I have two upcoming flights on British Airways and used my US Air number for loyalty programs. Do I need to make sure that's the AA number? One is in a few weeks.

This was mentioned on the Barclay site under rewards, that those with upcoming trips using USAir miles will not experience any issues. I used my US Air dividend number to sign on to AA through the Barclay site and found my new AA number and miles.

Thanks! These are both business flights so I have my loyalty numbers are defaulted in my concur profile. US Airways is my default for anything on oneworld and United is my default for Star Alliance. I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't have to change/update numbers to get the miles.
