We love our wedding rings from there... I had a $10k ring from Tiffany picked out, and I ended up with a $700 one from Blue Nile instead. Can't really compare the rings... the Tiffany one had a sh/tload of diamonds.

I'm with cv on this. Blue Nile has way better quality and reasonable prices. I upgraded my wedding ring and I'm thrilled with the quality and craftsmanship of my ring.

I'm with cv on this. Blue Nile has way better quality and reasonable prices. I upgraded my wedding ring and I'm thrilled with the quality and craftsmanship of my ring.

 

 

On the other end of the spectrum, there's a place I have breakfast sometimes... big truck-stop-ish breakfasts. It's right off the freeway. They have vending machines in the lobby with gum balls, temporary tattoos and a number of plastic baubles. If quality isn't important you can always pick up some jewelry with a quarter and a twist of the wrist. Just don't overpay for junk from schlocky jewelers in the mall parking lot.

Actually Kay does have 0% financing, you just have to put a 20% downpayment. I will admit I know nothing about jewelry, but I have gotten two pieces from them so far, a necklace for xmas for my GF and then a tennis bracelet for valentine's day. GF was very happy with both pieces and Kay was there to make both gifts happen for me so I am over all pleased with them for now. That will probably change as my credit profile improves.
