Uh-oh, somebody has asked an "impertinent" question on myFICO. Can't wait to see how this thread develops. I've been looking all day and not so much as a peep!

"There is a perfectly good explanation but it is not allowed to talk about it on this forum."

Pulled this morning and still have 24.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

Keep pulling.

I know, I know.

It's just frustrating, BUT all part of the game.

On a positive note, EX went up 13 points because of a drop in UTI. Went from 17% to 7% on one card.

Went from 2 to 20, score dropped 99 points on SC.

So, the consensus is, just keep pulling and hope they drop off again?

FAKE SCORE

CV,

Yeah, I know, I ignore that, just added that as a point of reference.

The reinsertion is the main concern.

I'm sure SC is happy because it means longer B* and some will need to restart B*

How does a fake point of reference help anyone, ever? That's like saying to get from Dallas to San Antonio you need to head toward the moon and take a right at the sun.

so just ignore it if it bothers you so much?

Pulled Smart Credit yesterday and showed 2 IQ. Pulled today and shows 11!!!

B* those others off long ago. Now they are back. I have seen 1 maybe 2 come back and then B* off again.

Something new happening with TU? Going the way of EX??

Any1 else have this happen?

Yep, The same thing happened to me when I pulled mine this morning as well as Credit Secure.

OK,

This is for the FCRA experts...

If INQs are gone from your report, for whatever reason, this recent R* reveals that they aren't truly GONE. TU is maintaining a "secret" record.

Why?

Why hasn't this info been completely deleted?

What purpose does it serve to maintain supposedly deleted info?

Is this within the law?

Is this "secret" file being divulged unbeknownst to the consumer?

Anyone have R* in Texas yet? I haven't seen anything pop up on mine.

Not on mine yet but it was noted in the other thread Transunion is moving people over to the new system and inquiries are now B* immune like experian.

It was a joke

There are no laws being broken, and in the case of TU, they were never removed. This isn't the same thing as getting a deletion from a dispute.

They are just not visible except on your consumer report.

Please don't bring up legal questions when legally they can report for 2 years.

I guess that joke was a little too on-the-nose...
