I'm thinking that a simple/complex checklist

might help newbies orient themselves,

and not shoot themselves in the foot

right out of the gate.

 

Yes, many of you are thinking

Bob's the LAST person

to start a thread on repair.

 

That's why I'm asking for input and help.

 

For those not familiar with posting links,

type out the title for the link,

highlight all the words,

Tried to send this via PM to not clutter the thread, but it seems that's not possible, so..

 

 

If this is intended as a "Step-By-Step then I'd recommend moving "Order Paper Reports" up to #2. The reading/homework can then be done while waiting for the reports to arrive.

 

Additionally (with no disrespect to uber) I'd recommend simply posting the numbers right here on that line item (unless they tend to change frequently and uber's sig keeps 'em updated)

I think it will be EXTREMELY helpful to link this thread, when newbies start a new thread, asking questions. Instead of being all over the map.

 

Great idea, and yea, I am surprised you made this. :grin:

 

No more comments from me, just additions if I have them. Hate to clog this with unnecessary clutter.

Don't get hung up on the B* threads, accomplish everything else first! B* is not credit repair.

 

Don't be afraid to ask questions. Search first then seek clarification. Odds are it has ALL been discussed here somewhere.

 

Banter is healthy and part of the healing process.
