I lived in Quogue and ran an inn for 3.5 years... I never heard that one. But Quogue is rather rarified. good night all xoxo

You lived in Quogue?! I live a good 45 mins away from there but I work in Westhampton Beach, bordering Quogue.

 

I swear our town names are the most difficult in the world!

 

Who would know how to pronounce Quogue unless they lived out here? Or Patchogue, Hauppague, Aquebogue, Cutchogue, Copiague, etc.

I'm frequently surprised that I can pronounce them!

 

Riverhead is well...riverhead.

 

My dyslexic brain cant fathom how to pronounce any of those :beee:

 

Don't feel bad VW, a lot of people wouldn't be able to.
