Had this us bank edge platinum card for 9 months with 10K so I put in for a CLI for 25k nextday came back approved.

So I went ahead a applyied for there edge cash rewards visa and was approved for 25K on this card.

What I may do is close one of them and combined the limits together for 50k.

These were all pg'ed score was around 790 EX.

Glad I just seen this thread.

I applied for the Travel Rewards cc they have about 7-10 days ago for one of my corps. Used my mom as the PG since she is on my corp. I finally received an email earlier today stating an approval and the cc should be here in the next 7-10 days. I had EQ and EX on ice. Made sure for them to pull TU. I'm anxious to see the limit now.

But my intentions are to do what you did MGB007. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of usage and payments were you giving during that 9 month time frame?

Ok just got approved also for the US BANK club Carlson visa card for $15k also in a few months I will also will combined this limit to give me a grand total for 65k on one CC

in about 6 month I will app. for there ace hardware business card and do the same till I reach 100k. I have all 3 reports locked so they must of used my 3 week old pull.

GR8WHITE I had about $1500 max on each card and made 3 payments to pay it off that's it, My EX score past 800 .

I also have done this with BOA business cards and seems to work well to get a big limit as thery have a lot of business cards .

That ones up to 56k right now :).

Hope this helps.

Nice man! There's a Club Carlson for biz too?

Each? I thought you only just had the Edge Platinum?

But to understand better, you had a 10k limit on that Edge cc and you only charged $1500 on it? then made (3) payments of $500 and that was it? In that 9 month period, nothing else?

Did BOA ask you any questions? The big limits were just from combining correct? My PG has an 800 score so I want to see what kind of moves can be made. (which I'm sure are plenty)

my hands was little itchy yestarday, so applied for USBank and BOA, holy crap I got aproved for both 20K,

Nice congrats!

Way to go GR8WHITE now after 7 months ask for a CLI and apply for a different card at the same time will be one pull. and the next month combined them all to the card you like the most.

Nice! Thanks MGB.

Did you request your CLI through the luv button? If I request more than 25k, will they start requesting financials?

I want your opinions.

6 months from now when I request a CLI for this cc...

what limit would you request? Keep in mind, they started me with 23,500.

Is it worth requesting 25k for a 1,500 increase? To me, it's not. At the same time, I don't know if I should request 30-40k and get flooded with a million questions.

Denied......after 10 days. Spoke to a very polite rep today, too many new accts. I told him I had a huge appetite for signons on the personal side recently. He laughed and told me to try again in 6-12 mos. if I was still interested. Oh well...I'll do away with the inq and move on. :-)

Anything over $25k and you have to send in financials, So I would just app for another card no limit on how many you can have :)

You're just a bad a$$ MGB

Thanks for the info and congrats on your success with US Bank. Keep us posted as you keep moving forward.

I would give it a month time you should be fine. You should try for a pnc business visa well your at it :)

Ok sounds good.

I already did. I had responded to your PNC thread. I had a pre-selected letter from them and applied. They pulled EX on Dec 31st. It's one of my pending apps right now.
