So I haven't been on for awhile, in fact I'm so embarrassed that I can't even come back under my old username. Awhile back my spouse lost a job and when he lost umemployment benefits everything went downhill. I had good credit and now after a series of late payments because I chose to feed the family instead of make payments I am back to poor credit. I have returned items...etc. Is it hopeless? (I know better) I don't know where to begin. In the past I was able to obtain good credit by removing old negative items, not new lates. Can some of the pros direct me to the right links on how to get lates removed? We now have two incomes again and I'm going in circles to figure what to do now.

You may need some TIME to pass for anything to improve.

But there is always a chance.

Be more specific about the issues at hand and you'll likely get better advice.

And for the love of everything good, don't feel ashamed, life happens. Stand up, dust off and get to work.
