ANNNND, they had the SQFT wrong (The seller) They used HCAD (Harris County Appraisal District) who apparently used the external dimensions to calculate the interior, not counting the open to ceiling spaces on the 2nd floor... ACTUAL SQFT is now 300 sqft less.

And, now we have agreed on the new price...

File went up for final review today.... I do think the waiting will kill me.

I swear they just don't want to tell me... My file has passed final Credit approval is waiting on approval to move to the closing department... lol

What bank is this? I just closed in Dec and we had a closing date from the start we worked towards and I got the final approval about a week prior to closure but none of the waiting periods are nearly as long as what you have been going through! I really hope you hear good news today.

NFCU, they really have been mostly great... most of the delay has been going back and forth on offers, and appraisal coming back low. and then all the major decisions happening on a Friday evening...

Did run in to *1* more bad thing... Seller concessions were limited due to the FHA requirement of 3.5% from the buyer, So we left some money on the table in the end... that sucked. but we didn't get the HUD til last night.
