I think Captivated is saying that none of his CIti limits are exactly $7k. He may have one at $6k or $8k Or $25k, but not $7k
I'm surprised you were able to interpret that...

And FYI BBRZ is Citi, but not really.

When I got denied recently, they told me that the BBRZ is not even counted as Citi credit, as it doesn't count as part of Max exposure

A couple quick questions for the experts. By way of background, I got my credit fixed thanks to this board, all that remains is 3 old charge offs. (Chase 11k showing zero due/owed, chase circuit city $322 paid in full, and cap one $1700 showing zero owed). Recent FICO experian from Barclay US air was 744, and I usually hover around 700 with my other monitoring services.

 

Just got Barclay in October. Had to call recon to get it. Only 2k limit. Called for an increase once but said they would hard pull and I didn't think I was ready.

 

In meantime I got 20k visa/LOC from PSECU. Ready to drop my cap 1 secured. So here's the questions:

 

I want to request a Barclay increase and get an Amex revolver and charge. What order should I do it in? Will Barclay increase after only 3 months? Should I pay my current balances in full before requesting Barclay or apping Amex? Balances aren't late, they're from Xmas shopping and not due til the 25tj of jan.

It doesn't matter. Barclays is a TU pull, and Amex will be an EX. Definitely PIF as many balances and wait for the $0 balance to REPORT before doing anything for best results. ONE balance of $2 reporting is always the best case scenario for apping or CLI requests. If you'd like a referral for Amex(s), send me a PM and I'd be happy to send you one. :wave:
