SO there are a few versions of the Citi AA card correct?

Which one is best?

I have the Platinum Select personal and business cards. Look out for 50K offers.

The Exec had a 100K offer last year.

Those are the 3 main cards to watch.

The EXEC card has a $450 AF!

It seems to me, at first glance the business version of the above two, would be best.

Since, it does not report?

And bonus is the same?

You could always try for both and churn AA miles...

They both waive AF for first year

So it is feasible to app both these, in same day?

Business and personal.

I believe you cant app for a citi more than once in 30 days

I may be wrong, but I remember this from my own personal experience

Well, I was thinking for the companion certificate, BUT I don't think I will spend 30k/year.

Like I said, I'm a complete newb to this and I need to learn.

I have a trip in mind in the spring or summer, that I want to make happen very cheap.

If you could get both the platinum and the platinum business and then if the exec ever goes back to 100K with no AF first year...

That's potentially 200K in points miles for 9K in spending.

If I'm not mistaken this is my largest starting limit.

I have higher limits.

Big difference from the 1.2k they gave me on the Double Cash.

Highest reporting limit is 15k.

I have 25 k store card too though, Lowe's.

My highest Starting limit was 21.9K on a United Card...

My highest card at that point was 15K....

Even if you could apply for the business card, I would suggest to wait because it would open up 2 AA accounts and you wouldn't be able to combine them

If you wait, you could just put in the same number that was generated when you got approved for this card

This card, do you have it? And if you do, what was your starting limit?

No I don't have this card.. I'm still debating....

I tried for a Citi CLI friday and was turned down from max exposure..

I probably could get approved if I transfer credit..

Then again, maybe I would get an instant

I forgot to ask...

Was your EX on ice?
