Log in to either your AAdvantage or Dividend Miles account and you can link your miles accounts!

You only need to do it one place. I linked mine on the AA site first and when I tried to do it on US Airways website, it said that they had already been linked.

Make sure your personal information matches before trying to link them. :good:

My US Airways miles were always part of an AA redemption strategy, so I'm just waiting.

Yes, mine as well.

I don't feel any warmth for the US Airways brand... never have... so I can't wait to liberate my miles anyway! :P

It was just a chance to double up on CC signup bonuses.

DFW is practically owned by American, so it was pretty convenient. :D

I don't care how much time passes with this merger, I'm never connecting in Phoenix again. The US Airways people there are bitter, angry relics from America West, which was always last on my list of choices to fly because it was awful in every way.

Given the choice between America West and anything else, I would always choose anything else, including Southwest. And THAT is saying something...

Things are getting less normal as the merger progresses.

Below is the first leg of a journey I booked on AA.com yesterday, where the reservation is no longer visible. I received both an AA and a US Airways record locator.

I just called US Airways to find out how full the flight is. They told me that they couldn't view the passenger count because the flight - to a US Airways hub - is operated by American. I called American, and they were able to help me with my question.

Use this site to see how full the flight is and what seats are available. You can also set alerts for a particular seat such as an isle or window.

Yeah, well, someone on this board also knows which seat I'm in, and I'm not saying who.

Expertflyer shows you every seat, not just what the booking site wants to show you based on face class.

Thanks for the link. I knew there was a site but I couldn't figure out which one, and listening to hold music allowed me to multi-task better than continuing to search the Interwebs. :D
