When you say "we shall not fear".....do you mean to the potential of a FR or tax info request if the CLI is over $25K? My DW recently got a CLI to $28K with Amex, no requests but we would have just submitted the info.

Yep, exactly right. I see so many posts of people not taking advantage of the 3x due to the 25k myth.

I got 10k last June, 3x to $30k, not a peep. I agree with you, if they ask I'll give it, not a big deal. I'm asking them for something no other lender is willing to give at 61 days.

 

If a new credit card company offered:

A compelling rewards structure

Multiple card offerings

Generous CLI's

Good sign up bonuses

Backdating

And they announced that they require tax info to process the application, best believe the IRS would see a surge of tax transcript requests.
