Lowe's Store Card - $300 Instant Approval (will call for CLI when I get the card, $300 is a joke)

Now call and ask for 25k. :grin:

Already tried that yesterday. DENIED.

Tried later that day for $2K. Said not eligible...probably because I had already asked once that day.

I'll try again in a week or so when I get my card. Not pressed over it...it's a friggin' Lowe's card, and I only applied on a whim because Ron1 posted about it. :grin:

Why do you think you were denied AmEx? was your EX below 700? any bad history with them perhaps?It almost seems that Chase is tougher than AmEx on stuff. Personal experience only...

Yeah, I apped Chase and Citi first, so I think it dropped my score about 15 points from the inquiries… Maybe I should've apped Amex first. I've never had an Amex before.

Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive Card - $12,700... had to reallocate $7,700 from my Citi / Advantage Platinum card

Eventually I'll reallocate the remaining $17,500 or so to the Executive, creating a $30k Executive.

Barclays AAdvantage is going to get PC'd... anyone have a good idea for that one?

Although I provided an EX PIN, credit monitoring reveals a TU HI alert from Amex and no EX HI so far. First time Amex pulled TU for me.

Yeah, DW got approved for Amex Green with mid-600 FICOs, but I got flat declined by Chase with mid-600 FICOs. Chase is pretty strict, apparently. I'll wait until my scores are firmly in the 700s, then come at them again.

FlexPerks's 5K... Going to wait to see if US bank actually wants to give me a real card after taking back TWO 22k carlson approvals last year, before I work on that chocolate limit.

BOA- 19K-->24K--->30K.. Stole 5k from my Fidelity amex, I called and bitched.. moved limit to 30K without stealing.

USAA Amex- 15K---> 29K...

Discover- 5K--->6K

Amex SPG- 15K---> 20K.

Trying to get back into the swing of things. As a bunch of my cards are now hitting the 12 month mark (OG credit spree was late march last year) I am going to start consolidating cards, and getting rid of the cards that are under 5K

Since Jan 1

State Employees Credit Union 11,000 to 20,000

BofA approved 9,000

Barclays NFL 10,000

Chase Freedom 5,500 (I have been denied an increase)

Chase Slate 4,000

Citi Double Cash Back 7,000

US Bank Business 11,000

US Bank Business 18,000

TD Card Services 12, 500 to 14,500

Discover 19,500 (Jus hit the luv button 2 weeks ago 1000 increase)

Citi Diamond 9800

Wells Fargo 15000 (went from 3,000 to 15,000. I called and shut down my business line because of the annual fee and asked for CLI).

I jus found this board about 2 weeks when I did a google search looking for info that landed me here. I am a Newbie but i have been doing this for years. The info here is priceless and now I'm addicted to the threads. I forgot to mention that I was approved for a Discover Miles card with a 6,500 limit that has not arrived yet. My Fico has been hovering around 805 but it will probably drop because of the HPs... The addiction is trying to get more credit when I dont use any of it.... I need help!!!!

I was at 663 on EX. Got some old baddies that are about to drop off. Once they do, I should be in the 700s and I can try for Chase again. No worries.

I decided to try to get two Amexes again today.

That PRG 50K offer seems gone, so I went with the standard offer through a referral link from mendelssohn. Approved!

Then I went for the ED through a referral link from HL. Approved for $2K! The limit sucks, but the 29 year trade line doesn't. :good:

Online CLI request for my Fidelity Amex. I asked to go from $9K to something like a $20K or $25K line. Instant approval for $16.7K! This is now my highest line, and it takes me to over $50K in trade lines. Next stop, $100K!

I requested a CLI this morning for my $2K Amex ED. I almost asked for a CLI for my $6K BCE, but I didn't want the rejection. Not because I'm afraid of rejection, but because I don't want to wait 90 days before requesting another CLI. Anywho, approved to $6K! :yahoo:

Now at $55,600 in credit, with an average line of $5,054.54.

I called Citi's EO yesterday asking for a CLI for my $2.5K Double Cash. Asked them to match the $16.7K on my Fidelity Amex. A CLI came through an hour ago. $12.3K! :yahoo: This is now my second highest limit. :D

Now at $65,400 credit, with an average line of $5,945.45.

Apped for the Discover It card based on a pre-qualifier mailer I received - $1500. Meh, but not exactly upset either, especially with all of the recent news of their CLIs.

Undeterred, I apped for the Quicksilver Rewards based on the Cap 1 pre-qualifier site - approved instantly for $5k. My highest starting limit ever.

First credit card apps Ive done in about a year. Scores last I checked in the 675-700 ballpark, one card with some high UTIL, but no lates and baddies from long ago have dropped off.

Five years ago I couldnt have dreamed to be approved for credit like this, with my credit in the tank from foolishness during my college years. With some help from my family, the great help of people here at CB to help guide and repair it, I now own my home, a car, and have over $10K in credit lines. All in the last five years.

And its FRIDAY too! :yahoo:
