Congrats on both your progress AND De-Lurking!! :clapping:

Penfed American Express

Well, I've been lurking for a LONG time while I waited for my credit situation to improve. I wanted to apply for a secured card in the next few months, but was itching to apply for Walmart to get something moving in the right direction. Other than car loans, I have had nothing on my reports in the last five years (and no credit cards other than charge offs). I have 2 years until the remaining charge offs fall away, so I wasn't expecting an approval - my auto enhanced score on EQ (my worst report though) is 599. Walmart approval (store card) for $700 and Amazon (store card) for $600. I'm going to let these garden for a few months and evaluate getting the secured card then. I'll be happy just to have positive credit cards reporting on my credit for a change! Going in the right direction for the first time in a long time!!

Amazon store card - $600

Walmart store card - $700

Was approved for a $500 Chase Slate after recon with a 571 EQ.

I guess having very limited credit history helped me a little in this one.

As opposed to a lot of good lines and a lot of bad ones.

Anything is possible lol

Congrats everyone!

The year started out with Penfed offers. Travel Amex $15K -> $30K

Then I started to become very curious if I was blacklisted, so I applied. BOA Alaska Airlines instant approval $10K.

After getting the random NASA FCU 'pre-approval' letter in the mail, applying, and receiving an instant $22,100 CL (weird number I know), I got an email from Alliant. I use Alliant for all of my normal Checking account transactions, so figured I was about due to get a card from them.

Applied, next day got email for additional information, then approved for $15,00 at 12.24%. Not bad, NASA is 10.9%, but these 2 CLs really were nice, bumped Util from 28% to 19%.

Nice. I only have 7.5 years left to wait.

And umpteen years with other issuers. It's going to be me and Cap1 for awhile.

congrats, waiting myself with hope...

You should try to apply for Chase Freedom! I was on their blacklist too and was approved on a Chase Freedom also. Markca didn't have preapproval on their website when he tried his. They pulled TU on my app. EX was frozen.

I went for a round of CLI's recently.

Paypal SC - 2400 to 4000

Amazon Store - 1900 to 4000

Cap 1 Venture - 7500 to 8500 (Luv button after 3 months)

Barlcay US Air (5000 to 6500 ) (Luv button again 3 months)

DCU - 7500 to 15000 (DECLINED) said I had sufficient credit with them already (have a loan too)

Chase - I'm hesitant, but I got 6 months with them, and I use them all heavily.

Comenity TR Visa (waiting for this in the mail, going to request an instant bump to 8500 to match highest limit) - 2000 instant approval.

I applied for CSP when my scores were higher.. they wanted Ex only so I punted. Maybe with Chase Freedom..but my TU is now in 670s due to mortgage misreport vs. 770's!

Got my third CLI with Paypal Smart Connect and this time it was an auto. My previous one was one I requested by phone and the first one I had on this account was also an auto. Initial starting limit of $900 and opened last April. I had also gotten my Amazon limit up to $6k last month but my CLI on Paypal was denied then.

From 3.5k to 4.9k
