Received a random NASA FCU 'pre-approved' letter today, with 7.9% BTs and no fees. Not a member, but this is interesting enough. I've been gardening for a couple/three years now, but what the heck...

Instant Approval of $22,100 (odd number)

Haven't been here in a while due to being busy with school but here are some of my recent approvals and CLIs.

WF Propel 365 Amex - $8k (they matched my Sams Club), hoping that when the card gets here I can get this up to $10k. Considering that I got denied for this one back in late September-October, I was pretty surprised and even more surprised that they approved me despite not having a checking or savings account with them anymore and having some prior history with their $700 limit college cash back card I used to have. Was not instant and found out through calling the automated line.

WF Dillards Amex - $2k (did this one before apping for the Propel hoping to have a relationship with WF again and because I wanted to shop for some new dress clothes here)

Discover auto CLI from $1k to $1.5k so it now matches my CapOne Quicksilver limit. PIF on this recently and had SD the card for a bit, only charging $1.99 a month

Amazon Chase Visa - $1k (moved $500 from the AARP so this one is also $1.5k)

Barclaycard Arrival SP CLI from $2k to $2.5k, 0 balance and called in for it

Paypal Credit CLI from $501 to $651 as a result of a recent purchase, no HP

Barclays Arrival Plus (opened 11/2014) CLI 4K --> 5K. Called for recon and asked for 25K. Limit upped to 10K after answering some questions about my stated income. The analyst said if I keep spending and paying they can offer me more flexibility in a few months.

I actually applied for that one based on what I was reading in another thread.

I was approved for $10,000 and my largest card before that is only $1,000.

I got suckered in by the Capital 1 thread.

Cap 1 Venture - $15K (highest limit so far)

Cap 1 QuickSilver - $5K

I really wish Cap 1 would let me combine some cards....

Ha!! I was looking for your update in that Cap1 thread!!

OMG so happy for you!! Congratulations Lily!! :yahoo:

LOL, thanks. I really didn't need any more cards and I swore no more Cap 1 cards since I had three but when I saw what they were offering I figured I'd make one last shot. I did the pre-qual tool and they pretty much offered me EVERYTHING. So I was like, okay, what the hell.

Actually, this works out well for me because I realized earlier tonight that I don't have any cards other than my Cap 1 ones that don't have foreign transaction fees and I'm in the process of planning a long trip to Europe in the spring. The Venture will definitely now be my go to card for international travel.

Sig is updated - It's getting awfully long. Europe is a combo of business and leisure - have to be out there for a week for work, then doing a week of vacation.

I really wish I could combine the three QuickSilver cards I have... oh well.

Two months since I was approved for PenFed Promise- initial credit line was $3,500. I have EQ frozen. Hit the luv button- I checked tonight and it says approved for 10K!!!

PIF before statement generated.

That's a nice CLI on an extremely early timeframe for PenFed.

Nice time to go to Europe...since the Euro has tanked :) Not only has the Euro tanked, but the economy has effected their consumers, so everything is on sale. It's a double whammy.

I know a bunch of rich Chinese women headed to Milan next week to go on a berserk shopping spree.

They got fed up on me :P

Prior to the luv button today... I have tried to recon my credit limit to no avail through email. Always received a NO. PIF on 1st statement- balance was -1.38 (I overpaid). Stopped using the card (hoping that they would see my point about "not having enough flexibility" on the credit line they gave me compared to my other credit union cards. I prevailed.

Plus there's this Konrad guy who told me to hammer my current cards with CLIs :P jk

As you and everyone else should!

I crush my TU-puller cards with CLI's... BofA every 2 months, Barclays every 4 on the dot, Lowes (soft) every 2 months. Hit Disco at 4 on the dot also.

I got a $10K -> $24K Amex CLI after 45 days.

I have some new apps I am planning with a strategy trying to push Chase and Citi to pull EQ instead of EX, so I have left my EQ pullers like DCU and PenFed alone. I've also left my Freedom alone so it doesn't interfere with the Ink Plus app. As soon as my new apps are finished, and before the new cards hit my reports, I will be drilling DCU and PenFed.

Just waiting to go for the new apps on March 2nd, so that all my new-ish accounts are a minimum of 6 months old on EX and EQ.

Do you use a spreadsheet like NYRangerfan's to keep track of your cards, day they opened, date of CLI etc?

And have you tried pushing the LUV button on JCrew like 50 times in a row? I've seen people get $4,000 in CLI's with 8 consecutive pushes of that button. Do it...do it now! :)

You have the TrueEarnings too, right? I tried the 30 days, the 61 days- both denied... Have you requested at all prior to 45th day?

On the JCrew- I will update you!! Are those soft pulls?

30 days is a little early on the Amex. And once you are denied a CLI, you are locked out for 90 days.

The JCrew is a soft. Hurry up and tell me what it goes up to.
