There are several that stand out in my memory...

DCU secured card -0- (ok in retrospect)

CapOne secured card -0- (ok in retrospect exc for EX pull)

$1K spg AmEx (Why so little?)

requested NFCU CLI to $10K from $5K ($45K in savings and MMA and a $10K secured card)

BCP AmEx (-0- wasted Ex pull)

and to top it off

Citi double cash 12/31 (wasted Ex pull)

Have $87.5 with perfect payment record... totally pissed off. Would have been happy with $1K to get into the door. Totally bereft over wasted HI.

Happy New Year- get out all of your complaints HERE! Who's next?

DCU CLI for being Egyptian. This was one of my first cards and started as a secured card, but it's not growing very quickly.

US Airways number 2. I made 3 attempts and all failed. I can't fault Barclays, but I feel better complaining about it.

BOA Secured card rejection a few months before getting Chase Freedom (Wasted EX pull, Suck it, BOA!)

Barclay card Rewards for average credit with an 'average' score.

Those are it, so far.

NASA really got me angry. I changed a good bit of how I apply for credit and how I handle my income because of it.

What happened?

I was approved, they asked for my tax info. I sent it, and they denied me. I'm pretty sure it's because of how I file, etc...

...just a guess on my part. The Adverse Action Report indicates they denied me because of excessive obligations and excessive revolving credit. Funny because I'm a steadfast user of the CeeBee Two Dollar method, but I never believed the excuses in the first place.

I was shopping for a recliner for my brother in laws birthday present.

Hmmmm... La-z-boy has a card... Synch backed... zero interest offer for 6 months... perfect.

Thought EXP was still locked after seven day freeze... it was the seventh day.

Apparently I need to practice reading a calendar more.

Or the freeze only re-freezes automatically on the 8th day.

Expected TU pull. Ended up with an EX and...

Declined.

Really? I can get this, that and the other, yet I can't buy a chair?!?!

No? Really? Not even a *chair*?!?!?

Not so much a denial but a CRAPPY limit....

Discover for $1000.

Pissed me off at the time, since I had a ~$24,000 15 year old Citi card ... but now I know that's how they are. The less you have, the more they'll give you. If you already have something good, they won't play.

Oh well. Now I'm saddled with a $1200 (auto-cil'd after 3 months) Disco. Not much use, but I guess I'll keep it for a while.

And the real slap in the face? 2 inquiries ....
