Amex Offers List

My $20 Sam's Club gift card arrived today.

No charge on my Amex BGR and the offer is still there. The pending charge disappeared last week.

The charge didn't disappear forever... I'm betting it'll post in a couple of days. It happens.

I noticed that the Smart & Final offer still shows as available, but I have $750 in gift cards purchased with five different Amices that say otherwise.

My smart and final still shows as available too. Anyone shop at smart and final and want to test this one out? Maybe they didn't code in the 3x cap...

I'm 2000 miles away from a S&F until next Saturday.

I know tripple post, but I just got this (targeted?) offer. $10 off $200 Amex GC. Use two browser trick to add to multiple cards. Code FPGRAD for free shipping. They have personalized cards for those retailers who insist on seeing ID.

Got the offer added to all 3 Amex. It appears the FPGRAD code expires June 20th, so bear that in mind, folks.

Anyone know if Amex GC's can used to load Serve online?

I just placed another order from samsclub.com (with Amex 2 of 4 with this offer). This time I got the offer confirmation email immediately.

Also note: Sam's Club is 1.5% back from Ebates: http://www.ebates.com/coupons/sams-club/index.htm?navigation_id=10007

Start your shopping there, or your other favorite shopping portal if Sam's Club participates.

Will do, good advice on the portal, also. The same applies to the Amex GC promo, I believe there are opportunities for some rebate action there too.

Found a nice list of gift cards offered at home depot from the last time they had this offer. Unfortunately there is some language excluding third party gift cards in the new offer; it is worth trying IMHO, but HD is probably set up with level 3 reporting due to corporate/gsa accounts.

Do you think gift cards sold by third parties covers VGCs in store or refers to sites like Cardpool? Seems amiguious to me.

Went to add the offer to the rest of my cards using the spreadsheet I keep on the desktop with all the Twitter accounts and it is already maxed out. That was fast.

You had tabs open for each card with the offer open?

It will disappear of you add it to one card and don't have it ready to add to the others.

I don't have a twitter account. I don't even know how to use it. But apparently due to AMEX it's going to make financial sense to figure it out. :dntknw:

If you have a Gmail address you can easily create multiple Twitter accounts without having to create extra email addresses, by adding + and then an identifying string after the name part of name@domain.com. I have name+spg@gmail.com, name+green@gmail.com, etc. You'll get all of the email at name@gmail.com.

Some sites don't allow + in the email. The other trick is to add periods in the email. n.a.m.e@gmail.com will also get delivered to name@gmail.com. You can also use @googlemail.com IIRC.

Twitter allows the +, and that's what we're discussing.

My company email is actually handled on the back end by Gmail. I just tried this + and it worked.

So I have to make a different twitter account for each card. I get this.

And then I have to have seven browsers open, one for each card, just like I do for the Amex offers that I access through Americanexpress.com? (Because all of my AMEX cards are managed under one login) I get this.

I don't know how to sync the particular card with a particular account. Nor do I know how to "tweet" :)

I'm pretty sure I've seen a primer on DansDeals or FT. Today's homework...

No, you don't need to do the multi-tab/multi-browser nonsense with Twitter.

You can log into each Twitter account, tweet the #AmexWhatever, log out, and then log in with the next account and repeat. You can do this seconds, minutes, hours, days later, with each Twitter account/linked card. Just type your message in the box and click "Tweet."

Of course this medium is meant to help spread the word to your friends, so most normal people would tweet something like, "Hey, you can get $15 back from Home Depot with #AmexHomeDepot," but as long as your tweet contains the string "#AmexWhatever" you'll get a notification back a few seconds later that the offer was added to your card.

Screen%20Shot%202015-05-25%20at%205.50.1

Some deals have a maximum number of registrations so it just makes sense to do them all right in a row.

You can use an app like Tweetdeck to tweet with all of your Twitter accounts with one action, but I haven't bothered. The best offers aren't that frequent, and I'd rather not have another app just for this singular purpose.

Also if you register too many accounts quick succession from same IP they will start asking for SMS verification. You migh take it a little slow or switch browsers/IPs if you have a bunch of Amex cards. YMMV.

That reminds me... before I created my second Twitter account I removed my mobile phone number from the first one, re-used the mobile number on the second account, removed the mobile number from the second account before creating the third, etc.
