Amex Offers List

I combined a couple things for this one.

+5 MR per $ spent at Amazon, up to 2k MR - AO

20% off when using MR at checkout at Amazon (max $50) - Amazon promo

Bought a $250 Best Buy gift card. Used the $125 gift card I received for signing up for the Amex Amazon Biz Prime card. Less $50 for using 1 MR at checkout.

So I ended up with a $250 GC for $74 and 1 MR point, and earned 444 MR (74 base points and 370 points for the AO).

I’ll probably use the rest of the remainder of the MR promo for more gift cards. I’m hoarding Best Buy gift cards for use on a new TV later this year.

Amazon let me add my Amex to my mom' account and activate the 20% offer.

So another $250 Best Buy gift card for me.

$250 - 50 (20% for using 1 Amex MR) - .01 = $199.99 spent.

200 base MR points + 1000 MR points from AO = 1200MR

Check your cards for this one.

Despite what the terms say, this is on my personal Greenie.

I tested it first on a $25 purchase and got $2.50 back, and then again on a $300 purchase, and got $30 more back.

I've been buying gift cards (so far, eBay, BP and Five Guys).  I have hundreds of dollars in Amazon GCs already loaded in my account, so no use for those (Lowe's does sell them).

I have until 6/30 to figure out how to use the remaining $675 in spending for $67.50 more back.

I've used up this entire offer and all $100 in credits have posted.

Now the same offer has appeared on TAD's personal Greenie, so I get to start over.

I wish Lowe's had a broader selection of gift cards.  I have a stash of Amazon, Ebay, BP, Five Guys and Bed Bath & Beyond thanks to the offer on my Greenie.

Netflix account is prepaid for the next 67 years.

And I'm not eating at Buca di Beppo.

Thanks for the reminder. I guess I’m going to Lowe’s.

Bought another $250 Best Buy gift card to max out the +5MR offer. I used the current 40% off for using 1MR Amazon promo ($50 max).

Pureology - Spend $50 or more get $10 back

Total after 15% discount for signing up for their email newsletter (from which I have already unsubscribed) was $60.35. Total cost = $50.35.

60MR for the purchase plus an additional 211 MR through Rakuten. Total = 261MR

Dell:

+1MR per dollar spent

+4MR per dollar spent

10% back, up to $1,500

Combined all three AOs with the Jan-Jun $100 Biz Plat Dell credit and the bonus $100 Biz Plat Dell credit recently announced.

$225 purchase. After the two $100 credits and the 10% back AO, total cost = $2.25

225MR for the purchase. 1125MR for the AOs. Also earned 2250MR through Rakuten. Total MR earned = 3600MR

Not a bad haul today.

I'm currently working on this offer on my Greenie:

I also had an unrelated 40% back (up to $50) offer for redeeming MRs toward an Amazon purchase, so I just maxed that on some Safeway gift cards, which I'll use at Vons in California.

I applied 1 MR for a $0.01 credit toward my order of $150 in Safeway gift cards, got the $50 discount for using the 1 MR, and paid the balance with my Greenie.

So I will end up with $150.00 in groceries plus 600 MRs for $99.99.

Amazon didn't have $25 Vons physical gift cards, so I overshot the target purchase amount of $125, but I'll have no problem using the gift cards.

$150.00 at Vons buys two 12-packs of Diet Coke and an 8-ounce package of sliced provolone.

Speaking of, I am on a "see a job, do a job" kick and my oldest complained yesterday of having no clothes.

Alternative Apparel had a robust sale section, and I found a 30% off coupon. I got $5 back for my order from Rakuten, and a $30 statement credit for spending over $100. I got 10 items (mostly their henleys for him, and a pair of sexy sweatpants for me) for $136 before the credit.

I was extremely pleased but had no one to tell :)

TAD has the same Lowe's offer on his Greenie.

I just ordered a beverage refrigerator for our kitchen, to replace the ridiculous trash compactor that we've been using to store thousands of plastic grocery bags.

I need to buy ~$150 in gift cards at the local Lowe's store to finish up the $1,000 in order to get the full $100 back.

I wish the Amex site had functionality that would let me hide unwanted offers.

There are often more than 100 offers per card, and it's really annoying to repeatedly scroll past the same offers I will never, ever, ever, ever use.

For example, neither of us drinks wine.  Right now I have the following simultaneous offers on several cards:

Martha Stewart Wine ($20 back on $50)

WineInsiders.com ($20 back on $20+, up to 3x)

Wine.com ($100/$30)

Darioush Winery ($400/$120)

B Cellars Vineyard ($300/90)

Beringer Vineyards ($60/$20)

Parcellewine.com ($100/$20)

Beaulieu ($150/$45)

Winc Wines ($50/$15, up to 3x)

First Bottle Wines ($250/$50)

Stag's Leap Winery ($200/$60)

Benzinger Family Winery ($200/$40)

Wineaccess.com ($150/$50, up to 3x)

Gift Tree Wine and Gift Baskets ($75/$15)

Vinesse Wines ($50/$15)

Ridiculous.

we get those wine offers and most of those places sell glorified $3-chuck. Our tastes are so specific on wine and I no longer buy USA produced wines (see this) so I rarely benefit from these promos.

($1,000 x 2) * 0.10 = $200 back on Lowe's purchases (combined on both of our Greenies) is complete.

Not an Amex Offer strictly, but my Gold currently has an extra MR per dollar at Cheesecake Factory, and they also have the $10 monthly dining credit.

Every blog has posted about a $20 deal starting on June 29th with two double cheeseburgers, fries, two soft drinks, and a slice of cheesecake for $20. $10 if you haven't used your credit yet or you wait a few days :)
