I guess to be fair to this thread, the $200 statement credit for the AA gifts cards for the Biz Pt was from the airline reimbursement feature, not the AMEX offers. But when you are trying justify AF's it definitely sweetens the pot

I ordered a $20 Sam's Club gift card and paid with my Greenie. Got the order confirmation email, got the "Card Not Present" email from Amex, but no offer confirmation email.

 

I looked at the "Card Not Present" email, and the merchant is listed as:

Then I looked the offer terms:

Valid only at samsclub.com. Not valid in Club. Enrollment limited. Offer excludes phone orders, Sam’s Club Pickup program orders that are paid for in Club, Sam’s Club online photo purchases,

According to "The Boarding Area", all purchases are being coded as Sam's Club Photo Shop. It's a glitch that Sam's Club and AMEX are working on. Some people are reporting its already been fixed. Others called in to AMEX, received a manual $20 statement credit, and the offer is still showing as valid

The Sam's Club offer said it was good for one offer per card across all "American Express Offers Channels" , whereas the Amazon offer said "Limit one statement credit per American express online account"

 

All my cards are linked to one online account for simplicity, but if more offers come out with this verbiage I might have to rethink that strategy.

If you don't get your confirmation from amex Immediately after placing the order, just cancel it. That will also confirm for future amex offers

Yes that is definitely what they mean. I am more concerned with the part in red. If this became more prevalent in their offers, I would have to have 5 AMEX logins. That would be a serious PITA.

 

I also need to get my wife's AU card set up for a login. I am missing out on some money!!!
