Hello everyone. Happy holidays. Received an automatic credit line increase from Barclays today. (Got that card thanks to the info on this site) I was waiting for my sixth month anniversary to call and ask for an increase. I started with 1,000 and they increased it by 650.00 Can I still call to see if they will give me more? Let me know.

Absolutely call! I hit the love the button about two days ago and they gave me increase from 2500 to 4130, of course I wanted more ha so I called uw and asked for 10000 and am overly nice when I talk to them so she gave me a $7500 limit!!! To say the least I'm ecstatic! Current TU is 725, and have only had them for a year, this is my second CLI this year started with a $750 limit last Christmas! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I got a Barcklaycard on October 10th (I think) with a $1200 limit, A week ago I was playing around in my account and hit the luv button. I got a "we'll let you know" message. A couple hours later I got a VM from them telling me they couldn't approve me for what I wanted and if I had any questions to call the number on the back of the card. I asked for an increase to $10k, they gave me an increase to $5k.

This was before I had the card for 60 days even so I don't think there are any time limits. Give them a call and see what happens.

* I did have to take a hard TU pull for the increase.
