Well I made a change that I think is for the best.

I have two BOA cards.

FIA Amex 15k, wouldnt CLI

BOA CashRewards, went from 10k to 25K this week.

I moved part of the cash rewards card to the Amex.

Now have a 35k Amex. :)

New highest card and my prybar is no longer Cap One.

We all use a unique Avenue and our own approach.

I remember a few progress threads awhile back, where I dreamed of that being me.

I hope this thread inspires others to live that dream. If I did it, anyone can.

It IS NICE, being "creditworthy" is a lifestyle and I love it. It changes everything.

Thank you to everyone along the way.

I know I have become more credit swavy, more inspired by your progress. I know that having better credit can, and have already made a huge impact on my life. Things that I thought were not attainable is no longer so far to reach. Thanks this site and all the good people here on this site I am forever in debt. Thank you everyone for your push. I wouldn't mind learning your approach tho. LOL

I used to keep my cards down there, then one day just deleted them.

Not sure how long I'll keep it like this, but I like it too. Thanks Snaps.

I saw hubby bring up your Freedom approval today, congrats. :clapping:

Hahaha!! Thank you!!

I have been checking on their prequalifier RELIGIOUSLY! The other day, preapproved offer magically appeared! It's been constantly there for 3 days so today, I gave in and applied (sorry, farming!).

The siggy added in making this thread more inspirational!

Well when I app'ed awhile back, within 30 days of a past approval they told me it couldn't be auto-approved. And they told me to wait about a week and call back they may push it through. I called back and they wouldn't do anything. So I let my apps clear out of their system and I had zero problem.

I know it's YMMV, but here I sit with a CSP, just 30 days removed from two UWs saying no. This is the first Chase EX pull also, but I doubt that matters.

It wasn't "auto approved" per se, but once I passed ID verification it was.

That limit is kind of disappointing. What limit were you expecting? Chase is so weird. I also thought about the CSP, but if you only got that limit, I may be better holding off.

Well I always said I would update my "one-year" progress.

Here it is, I became a member here on March 7th, 2014.

Many things have changed since I began my credit repair. Come, and gone.

Many things I would've done differently. Can't change the past.

I started at 591, Barclays updated today. I didn't hit my goal.

But I am still happy and have ALWAYS been appreciative of the members here, all of them.

Thank you, everyone.

Not sure if this works however if this helps

I had reached 800 and recently got a new car and used 3000 to pay some of the amount. The utilization went up to 11%. I also had few (3-4) recent hard pulls. My score dropped to 750-760. First I thought it was due to those 3-4 hard pulls, however once I paid my balance, utilization back to ~3%, my score shot up back to 800 (credit karma reported almost 60 plus points... maybe due to balance & few more cards increasing my total credit).

Guess trying this you require genuine reason to buy something since getting the utilization amount to >10% may not be easy if you have lots of cards!

the 3 points difference from your goal does not define you. Miley Cyrus (lol!) said "It's the climb" and most of all, the people you inspired and helped in this journey. You are one of those most approachable I've met here.
