Does anyone have any "outside of the box" ways to attain membership at NFCU as I am to become a member as no one in my immediate family has served in the armed forces?

Unfortunately I don't think my fiancee' will be too happy with me dropping her to be with a female to gain access to a credit union but thanks for the advice...lol...

iluvcb, there is one and, practically speaking, only one way to get to the credit promised land, for us poor landlubbers.

 

All you need is to find one sympathetic friend / neighbor / relative / co-worker / activity pal, etc., preferably in your local area, who is a member or is eligible to become one.

 

Look up "nfcu household member" for all the exciting details.

Really, all one needs to do is find a sympathetic friend? Why didn't anyone think of that before? Oh, that's right, they did. And they got their cards and accounts closed and got kicked out.

 

If it were that easy, everyone would be a member by now.
