8 day hold on an ACH payment that was $5,000. Funds left my CU days ago, but Wells won't release it.

 

I've been calling the department that handles the retail type cards (Outdoor Solutions Visa, Home Projects Visa, etc. etc.) only to hear: "Sorry, we have high call volume right now and we cannot assist you. Please call back later" And then the call disconnects.

 

ETA: I called the Wells EO. I (politely) demanded an explanation and told her I'd screen shot her an e-mail showing that they have had my money for days. She said she'd escalate it with financial and get back to me. Also asked her what was up with their CS lines just hanging up on people due to "high call volume?"

Actually, I carry a Tumi monogrammed card case.

 

And now that I think about it... Some of those aren't in my wallet.

 

I don't carry the following:

Ashley

Wells

Both UCCUs

And the LOCs, obviously.

 

I did forget to list my Alliant debit card, though, in case I need quick cash from the ATM or something.

 

Do they all get used? No. Let's just call it some strange obsessive compulsion.

 

"What if I ever DID need to use that card?" So...it goes in the wallet. Haha
