[Phantik]

I just saw this on the apple website and the rewards are actually pretty good if you are an apple wh*re like me

I called CSR and in less than a minute they upgraded. Will get a new card soon.

What's the diff between this and iTunes Rewards?

[ubercat]

...upgraded from the apple financing card?

[nolanryan]

report back when you find out if it is a new trade line or not

[Phantik]

Its the same trade line. Same account number. Just an upgrade.

Thanks for posting will call about this today. I opened this card on a whim and I really don't understand the terms. If I meet the purchase $ threshold can I always use the promo interest free financing... Or was it only right after opening the card?

[Phantik]

Unfortunately APR promos are only good in the first 30 days of account opening.

Any pull involved? And this is an upgrade from my Barclay's Apple white card?

This is the new version of the Barclays Apple Financing card.

Just call in and they'll upgrade you. No pull, no new TL

It basically just adds a chip, and rewards redeemable for Apple gift cards

Financing offers are sent periodically

[Phantik]

Very true, I have an offer now for 0 APR until Jan 2016 1% fee

[nolanryan]

They also offered the everyday card as a conversion option. I just got off the phone with them. Thanks for posting

[MBAmaterial]

Thanks guys! I did it and was able to get another deferred interest period as well. Maybe it's time to go shopping for a new MacBook.

What do you mean by everyday card?

[nolanryan]

She called it the Barclays everyday card. 2 points back on gas grocery and utilities if my memory serves me correct. I didn't look into since I have NASA but if mought be a decent card for someone else

[nolanryan]

This is probably it

Are you sure about this? I thought Barclay's was always a hard pull for CLI?

[cloknem]

The CSR told me since they offered a CLI it would be a SP. However, if I call and request one tomorrow, it would be a HP. It was only $500 but I will take it.

[david_weaver]

OK, that makes sense. Thanks for clarifying.

No problem, makes one wish every call was that easy.

Did you get an additional deferred interest period?

[Phantik]

Just received card and it is a very shiny silver. I think I like the old one better

[ubercat]

I got my card today too. The chip is nice.

I didn't get an additional deferred interest period.
