I've been pretty patient this year, but after I close on my mortgage next week and then once the rest of my student loans drop off, this thread is going to be the opposite of my 2016 approach.

My 2015 Farming Season in Review -

A pretty good year I must say. I had some moderate success with my Amex crop but the final pickings are a little late that is due in about 3-4 days

The Barclay was planted in a small patch and after a massive dump of fertilizer it came in big and now its time to make some beer.

Though it was not a Goodyear for that Citi-backed crop where most of that wilted away due to non-use and I'll have less of that going forward. I may just plow that under and try again with some other variety.

The biggest crop I had come in this year in a nice abundance was the Discover. Must just be that right combination of soil and fertilizer - came out double the yield that I had going in the spring.

The Comenity came in with a small amount this year, and the CrapOne bins were rebuilt from two small bins to one. Unfortunately I have to use what I have in the CrapOne bins before I can get a bigger one and I just don't like using the smelly stuff.

And the biggest surprise of all was the rare Target finally bore a small amount of fruit from that tree.

Haven't decided what to plant for 2016 yet. Good farming practices say "rotate crops" so I'll probably cool it with Discover this year. Maybe throw some of that smelly CrapOne around and see if that brings about anything besides weeds.

I'm determined to keep my reports frozen for 6 months aside from some possible thawing for CLI's.. and I'll do my best to not apply for any new accounts for at least a year, but admittedly I may only survive half of that goal. There are a few TL's I'd like to have after some of these new cards age and grow.

I'm gardening myself. Planted several new crops in 2015 and they need to grow before I harvest. Was able to plow under the First Premier crop. With my income, I can't afford to have a big garden. Right now I'm cultivating my current crops and only 3 need monthly "green" attention to improve their yield on my reports.

I have 2 crops I want in the future - Discover and Lowes Hardware. But I plan not to even consider planting those until after I hit the mother lode - a home of my own.

*Unfortunately my Care Credit crop will probably end up getting monthly "green" attention. I have 2 cats going to the vet tomorrow. One for a wound - damn neighbor's dog grabbed him and tore the back of his neck open. Only good thing is I can see the muscle and it's not damaged, just the scruff is torn but it's already draining. He didn't come in last night, and when I found him today, it was no longer bleeding but vet can't see him till tomorrow. No idea what kind of hit that will be, at least I got several crops that are just growing without the monthly "green" attention.

He's one of my baby. If not for the Care credit, I'd ask the local humane society or a rescue to take him before I let him suffer or risk infection. I think he hates me right now, I got after him with a small bottle of peroxide. It bubbled a lot....

1. Is the dog known for aggression? I don't know if where you live you could call the dog catcher and report it as an aggressive animal 2. Sounds like he just needs to remain an indoors cat after he recuperates from this.

All 4 of the neighbors dogs run all the cats around here; there's easily 30 since the landlord don't care if hers breed like crazy.. Keeping Tater locked inside isn't an option, we've tried before and he waits to hear the door and then he's gone like a shot and disappears for hours. Spends a lot of time on our trailer roof in the sun, lol. He climbs a tree to get up there.

Can't prove the dog did it because Tater took off right after I got the dog away, then was gone hiding till the next day. It was just a little place but he started scratching and now it's a huge place wide open. So now I have to confine Tater to a carrier if I'm going outside. He can't live in a small kennel, my carrier is big enough for maybe like a spaniel. Vet says it is possible it was a dog bite but also possible it was an abscess that ruptured. But Tater loves having his ears rubbed and it was fine this past weekend. Add in the fact the edges have some pretty small half-circle pieces taken out and it looks like a bite.

I bought a super soaker water gun toady, can shoot a stream 25'. The dogs come around, I'll hose them down.

Poor kitty!! Good luck and I hope that's the last vet visit for a while!

Maybe a followup in a week if it doesn't seem to be closing up. Infection should be taken care of by then so vet would be able to stitch it closed if needed. He will have to go back for sure cause he is due for his rabies shot but they didn't want to give it with him having an infection. Said cats are more prone to adverse reactions than dogs when they are fighting an infection. That is planned out of pocket - $12 or i can wait for the annual clinics the county does.

On the good side, I only took a hit for $150 so even at min pay its just 6 months. But that's 30% so may try to hit them up for a CLI, not sure yet.

I got my credit steps increase on my Cap1 QS today... A little bummed that I didn't do better than I did. They took me from $1500 to $2000. I wish I would have tried M$ a little bit with it to get my spend up and a better CL.

Oh well, that's something for nothing really, right? :)

Just need to vent that it's so stinkin hard to adhere to my master plan of waiting 9+ more months to do any more new apps. That is all. Thank you for letting me share.

BTW there has been some relief with BOA and Target Cli's so far this month and some due next couple months. Ugggg the button is so pretty!
