FIA Amex is so easy to get and people are great to deal with, no doubt you will get the limit you seek.

 

Already have it.

 

Since it's only a TU pull I just put in the request, got the 7-10 day. Ugh. I don't feel like calling UW right now.

 

 

Welp, good thing it was a TU soft.

 

They gave me a $2500 bump, wanted to see more use on the account.

 

 

Just hit up BofA every 2-3 months. And get another card with a higher limit to use as a prybar. I've taken BofA from 3k->6k->10k->20k since August. I call straight to the analyst for CLI's...don't bother with the luv button or the CSR's.

 

 

I called UW this morning to sort this one out.

 

I last had a (fairly substantial) CLI on the account 3 months ago, so I wanted to see where my new reporting limits and improved scores could get me. I've debated taking on another BOA/FIA account specifically for the purpose of combining but at this point I haven't been compelled enough to pull the trigger.

 

Thinking it may be time to combine US Bank, though. That should loosen things up a bit.

 

 

If I want a larger BofA limit in the future, I'm going to have to app/combine. My BofA doesn't even get used anymore.

I quit smoking on 2-23-14

 

I sometimes have a quick psychological craving, like a habit to reach for one.

 

I also have this same instantaneous craving to app.

 

When that happens I like to come here and document it.

 

I have made it with the smoking, and that was cold turkey.

 

One would think smoking is the more difficult.

 

BTW, my credit repair was a main contributor to my success at stopping smoking. I figured if I am being serious about changes there is no way in hell I can keep throwing my money at cigarettes.
