There has been a lot of discussion on the board regarding review, graduation, upgrading of a Wells Fargo Secured Business Card, and I wanted to share my experience:

Approximately a year ago, I applied and opened a Wells Fargo Business Secured Card to establish credit with WF. Earlier last week I received an letter indicating I can upgrade my secured card to an unsecured card, simply by signing the authorization form by November 30. I have used my card, paid more than the minimum payment each month and some months PIF. I have even ran it close to the CL and then back down.

Credit limit and terms to remain the same, new card to arrive by December 31, and refund of my collateral account (security deposit) 8 weeks following, no later than Jan 31, 2015.

My personal is spotless, just some high util on a couple of cards. No baddies and inquiries are falling off, as I'm gardening for a while longer; need to pay down personal and let INQ drop off which will bring score up more.

Spotless personal is key. Congrats on all your successes and keep building your momentum.

Same here, high Inq maybe 3% util large balance in WF biz accounts. I did one secured cc account but since then every newly started company account ive opened Ive been given an unsecured card. Recently offered a pre-approved unsecured line on the initial account with secured card. All this has taken place in maybe 10 months.
