Need to find a bank in Md or adjoining state- Signet Bank???Cignet?

Hello All, I am being deposed in a court case about some major missing funds- substantial- that I would share a piece of. There is a critical piece of information to the merits of this case regarding a financial statement rendered to Signet (CIGNET?) bank in or around Maryland who accept a forbearance on a real estate loan where the person who owed this money acknowledged it in an affidavit to the above named bank. It has most likely been taken over by one of the big banks. This would have been in the 1990's or early 2000's. Does ANYONE know of bank in this area of a similar name?

found it, merged with Wells Fargo.. Whew.

You may be familiar with their credit card division, it was spun off as Capital One........
