I disputed my Enhanced Recovery Company, LLC account through Sprint on all 3 CRAs. It looks like they have updated on all 3. Can I still do a DV, or am I out of luck there? I allegedly owe $380 and actually wrote up PFD settlement of $155 (they had previously sent me a letter offering a settlement of $152).

My question is, should I send them a letter disputing the validity, even though they have already "verified" it through my CRA disputes? Or should I continue with the PFD? I just want them gone, and the $155 will totally be worth it.

I've read around and saw older posts saying they fold fairly easily. Have they gotten more hardcore?

Thanks, in advance!!!

You can still DV them, which is not disputing the debt, its asking them to validate the debt there are tons of example letters on here. A lot of times they dont have any records and are not able to validate so they will delete. Look up the 1-2 punch which is when you DV the collection agency and dispute with the CRAs at the same time.

MagicWest, thank you very much for your reply. I found a great letter from Why Chat that I will use. I will send it off tomorrow by certified mail.

About the 1-2 punch, should I still dispute it again with the credit bureaus, even though I already have? Or should I just send the collector the DV and wait to see what happens? Since I've already disputed with the CRAs, they do not "investigate" again on the same account, correct?

Thanks again!

In my personal experience and much reading here enhanced recovery is one of the easiest CA to deal with. They rarely agree to PFD deals. But they seem to rarely come back after sending DV letters. And even then once its paid they rarely answer the CRA dispute. Though YMMV. Also try the sprint executive office. Has worked for many in the past.
