If the UW turns you down, at least request a CLI online every 4 months.

Update: As I stated in an earlier post, applied a few days ago and was denied due to EX., and TU. BEING frozen. So I decided to unfreeze EQ and TU and gave it another shot...............and drums rolling.......................CONGRATULATIONS! You're approved............$7,500.00 CL.

This may sound horrible for someone only 1.5 years out of BK, but a 3rd Cap1 card just doesn't seem worth the pull right now.

I also got approved for the Venture for 10k and it arrived yesterday. Since I had already taken a beating for inquires, I decided to apply for the Quicksilver because that is the one I wanted anyway. Got the 10 day message. Today in the mail I received a letter that said I had been approved for 10k for that one too! I have two other Cap1 cards that have been stuck at 1500 since I got them right out of BK. I couldn't get CLI for anything. I guess they like me again:)

New CAP1 Venture approved FICO on TU is 679 FICO on EX 660 EQ Frozen. I am truly stunned at how far I have bounced back from real dififcult BK 19 months ago. And It's because I LISTENED to you guys.

I tried a coupl of ideas on my on and that didn't turn out so well, so I opened my mind and

followed exactly what I was taught here. Thank You

You guys are awesome. 2 years post BK and I just saw this thread. Too tempted to pass up on it, especially as I just bumped 14 of my 16 EQ inquiries. My MyFico EQ is 688. Too tempted from the successes I have seen on here now, I pulled the trigger and I applied just 10 minutes ago.

 

APPROVED for $10,000.
