Dell from Hell

I would like to formally announce that the $182 fraud on what was a closed and paid off Dell a/c,going to a previous address, has now been formally removed from DFS and from all reports (within 30-45 days) after validating an unlimited number of times after showing deed for purchase of current residence, 6 certified letter, approx 12 hours on phone, numerous uploads of police report, unending questioning, and a strong suggestion that I turn in my former husband to the police for possible ID fraud. He is, BTW, a Luddite and does not "do" computers, much less install memory.

 

It took so long that I offered to pay the now discharged debt of $428. No dice. Jan of 2009 charges...no collection attempts, undiscovered until I pulled my report in Feb...

 

I feel as though I have had a cancer removed from my body. That and an exterminator bill where I showed them the cancelled checks with their endorsement.

 

The State of Texas AG sued Dell several years ago, one of the State's biggest employers, for bait and switch. I don't know what category this one falls into but I will NEVER buy a Dell product again...

 

And that is THAT.

Yep. Had my own issues with them about 8 years ago. My NDA prohibits me from discussing it. Hate that company. If I ever see that name on my cr then I am running to an attorney.

of course, we still have to wait for EX to remove it. That could take another six months... They were the one with the exterminator bill, of course...

 

BTW, the police dept was beyond amused that I had to file a police report for an address 6 years ago...Geeze, I could see it if it were $1,820 but $182>???

I had an issue with them a while back reporting an account as IIB when I had paid it fully before BK...I disputed a half dozen times and they would never fix it. Finally it just aged off...they suck.

when you can dial a tel no in your sleep you know that they have surpassed themselves in Customer DisService. They never sent the records I needed. I think that they also re-aged my account. they are a nasty bunch.

And while I've known quite a few kitty-puppy pairs of pals,

I'm afraid mine wouldn't know how to behave in the company

of a puppy. They would most likely earn a cordial invitation to

NEVER come back for a playdate again.

I have two 8 lb doglets that are runt shitzhus... they act exactly like cats. Except for jumping,one of them is quite challenged in this respect.
