You mean like an initial $50K CL that is increased to $75K with a BK less than a year old? See my point?

actually he claimed it was initially $5k and then was increased to $75k.

Nope

that's right now I remember.

he originally claimed he applied and his highest CL was like $3k and they magically gave him $51.5k.

now increased to 75k.

And 2 Amex cards with a BK less than a year old...

And over $800K in revolving credit...

BS.

Sorry, no way. I feel sorry, because there will be people searching threads here and believing it.

I don't understand people's need to lie to perfect strangers.

I can see fudging a few very minor inconsequential factors just to avoid the card issuer's trolls from reverse engineering our posts, but a $75k Barclays and two extra $10k Barclays??

You guys are such skeptics. It could happen.

When I was serving consecutive life sentences

in Alcatraz for embezzlement and tax evasion,

I finished med school and did my residency.

And I used the warden's computer to apply for

Cap1 my first year there. Approved for $300.

Forty-five days later I hit the luv button and

was raised to $120K -- soft pull on TU. :dntknw:

I think I read where they would let you out of your cell weekday evenings and put a speedboat at your disposal so you could do evening neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins. Paid for the flights with your three AmEx Centurions, right?

Correct. You must have been following me on Twitter.

No... Instagram.

Ahhhh, gotcha. Thanks for saying that -- I forgot I had an Instagram account!

Signed up for it in Alcatraz, but I haven't used it since I was on Death Row at Sing Sing.

No screen shots, eh?

Oh come on... you expected those?

Patience, grasshopper. We're not all Photoshop experts -- that kind of thing can take time to learn.

At this point, even an artist's rendering of the screen might be considered.

But let's not forget that some artists' work is designed for olfaction.

I think a lot of the Amex fr stuff is made up or either some of the details are left out. Not saying it doesn't happen but seems like many details are left out.

I've heard that using Amex at WalMart is a sure fr but that's not true. My boss uses his Amex at stores like WalMart all the time with no issues.

I use my Amex at red box all the time with no problems. So many horror stories surrounding fr these days hard to know what to believe.

Amex wants to make money and stay in business and closing peoples cards out from random is not good business and wont sustain them. High risk customers sure but not ones who use the cards responsibly.

So tophie, you never gave the results from Amex. I know you've been here, so let us know what happened. And, if you want to post those screen shots, PM me with the link and I'll post it for you. Come on, prove everyone wrong.

You have to think about the Amex/Walmart thing in perspective. It was during the financial crisis and banks were looking for ways to minimize risk. What way

could they do that? by profiling...and they determined that those that had Cap1 cards or shopped at Walmart were likely to default. Sure, they got backlash for it

and since the economy has somewhat improved, they don't shut down people for shopping at Walmart anymore.

I'm sure profiling does happen some but hopefully it doesn't become prevalent.

The current trend I've read a lot about lately is getting Fr when buying gift cards or coins. I've bought a few coins recently with no issues.
