I figured that there must have been a screen shot posted, but it's just CV talking about his form of "selfie." Please, no selfies!

So here is a question for you regarding the 4506-T. So this year I relocated for a new job, and the company is covering my relo costs...which is taxable income and shows up in my W2. So lets fast forward to next April or so, after I file my taxes...if we were to apply for a CLI on the wife's BCP, and they requested a 4506-T (she is at $28k now and when we tried to get a CLI last time we got the 4506-T request and didn't submit it, so I am guessing we will get the request), do I put our "regular" income, or what ties to the 4506-T?

you can safely put whatever is on your taxes.

one important thing to note is that they can't get transcripts for the current year until about August.

I got everything sent in... and although they didn't request it, I sent copies of my paycheck stubs and bank statements for the last 8 months starting at January. No overdraft fees, shows at least $50k a month coming out to pay all bills, even shows lines of credit, vehicles, credit cards, secured loans, all paid in full, zero balance over that 8 month period on the statements. I called a few hours later to confirm the information was received and was told they would call me when everything is complete... and Barclays...they have been amazing so far. They are so damn picky about credit pulls.

And I don't see how it's possible to acquire over $800K in credit in under a year following a BK. It takes long enough to get to $500K with clean reports.

Wait... one year out of BK... Amex x2 with TU pull alone... and 75K barclays line... I think my chain is being yanked.

Fixed it for you.

I'm torn between these responses:

Rub his belly

Hike my pants

In full agreement. There are AGRESSIVE rebuilders after bk and even the best can't get prime lines within two year's of bk... normal after bk strat is rock nfcu as hard as you can...

I don't see it at all... 800k with a squeaky clean profile takes years... not months.

I got a call from American Express. They told me to call them back. Did so. They told me that the computer has told them that I need to send them a 4506T to verify my income. It's not a problem as I have nothing to hide, but never have had to do this for a credit card... I have now read that Amex will do this some times. My income last year was no where near what it is this year. My tax return last year was small. This year it will be quite large.

I'm going to send the form in of course, but should I expect the card to be canceled based on last years income tax return?

You should also send them a recent pay stub and explain your current situation.

I think you will be fine with Amex
