USB gave me an instant approval in branch with my highest starting CL of any card. Guess they're definitely a YMMV sort of lender.

Aren't they all? I'm sure even We Fee has some tried and true card holders, though hard to imagine how that could be :P

My annoyance with USB is that they asked all 3 to be thawed for an app to be processed, saying it's because they pull 'randomly', ack!

I usually start by politely emphasizing on all positive aspects of my profile and then kindly ask them to reconsider the original decision I casually mention that perhaps the denial was system generated and a seasoned Analyst would certainly not have denied it.

Sometimes it works!

If I don't get a fuzzy feeling when I hear the voice of Analyst , I hang up.

I am an Underwriter Profiler! I suppose .

Cash+ is great for 5% on gym and cellphone. Earn $185 in cash back per year just for paying those two bills with this card.

Yes please!

If you spend $3,700 a year on those two things you need checkup from the neck up.

I pay for plans for my immediate family for both, so $300 a month isn't altogether terrible. Also that factors in a $25 credit for waiting to redeem cash back until the value is > $100.

Moreover: The $2000 cap is per quarter.
