NFCU Checking Credit Line only wants Equifax

Recommended Posts

Equifax is frozen, applied for Credit Line and was told unfreeze Equifax. I said pull Experian or TransUnion, and they said only Equifax.

Every time I apply for anything with NFCU, all 3 credit reports get dinged. Should I ask for reconsideration

I love Navy too... You shouldn't be afraid if you can document employment and income... They are pretty easy and very generous...

EQ destroyed a bunch of my old credit lines when I started backdoor and inquiry bouncing. My FICO is 50 points less than Experian and TU. I still ave 5 inquiries on EQ, None on TU and 3 on Experian. Recovering from BK 19 months ago and should really be gardening until 2 years after BK. Should I unfreeze EQ????

The BK is not a problem, assuming your credit since has been spotless. The inquiries are no big deal - NFCU doesn't seem bothered by inquiries much. I had 10 or 12 when I applied for NavCheck.

You said your FICO is 50 less on EQ. So what is your FICO? I'd unfreeze and let them pull EQ.
