cv91915
I had to keep the volume down because, well, I'm at work. I could still hear must of it. I then looked up the lyrics. I just... Don't even know what to say. How did you even find this? These things find me. It tastes just like raisins!

For some reason, I don't know why, I started thinking of The Clap Song.
cv91915
Nothing says "I don't know you well enough, or care enough, to spend the time to find a gift that's perfect for you" more than a gift card.
CTSoxFan
Nothing says "I don't know you well enough, or care enough, to spend the time to find a gift that's perfect for you" more than a gift card. How about cash? Quite frankly, cash is my favorite gift. I would rather buy my own stuff than people give me crap I likely don't want or won't use...but I can always use cash. Cash is marginally better since at least it can be used anywhere. Same concept, though. Why doesn't everyone just trade hundred dollar bills with each other? At least the serial numbers would be different on the ones you receive.
BJKill
People in my family (like my brother) always buy me horrible gifts. It takes so much more time to take them back to the store and get something I like that I wish they would have just given me cash or a gift card. I think gift cards can say "I know you like Lululemon" stuff, but I don't know your size or color choices. This makes it a somewhat personal gift. Some people (like my mom) refuse to spend money on themselves, so I have to buy a gift or gift card. If I gave her cash, she would not spend it on herself. minnie aubre
I buy my dad something but the main gift is a gift card to Powell's because he loves buying books. He reads so much that I'd end up buying him something he's already read. Edited December 9, 2014 by minnie aubre
cv91915
I'm trying to decide if my mom was serious when she said she wanted a longhorn steer skull and horns for their back yard. There are hundreds of them for sale on Ebay.

MBgratitude
s'up? - makes me cringe/ "Supper" does the same for me. I think they eat that in Mudland. Yes, "supper". I have always loathed that word.

MBgratitude
The mis-use of this word annoys me deeply: "anniversary". i.e. We are celebrating our two-month anniversary. Anniversary refers to annual. From the Webster dictionary: Middle English, from Anglo-French & Late Latin; Anglo-French annuel, from Late Latin annualis, blend of Latin annuusyearly (from annus year) and Latin annalis yearly (from annus year); probably akin to Gothic athnam (dative plural) years, Sanskrit atati he walks, goes First Known Use: 14th century

minnie aubre
I am completely unmotivated to get ready to go to work. I spend about 2 hours a day driving. I travel 32 miles. That's round-trip.
BJKill
"Have a Nice Day" Especially after 3 p.m. Of course this is a step up from "Have a 'Bless-Ed Day.'" I can't even go there.
