I don't know where else to put this, so here goes.

By a show of hands, who else got a haircut today from a male 20-year-old Mexican barber named Jordi?

Someone driving through the neighborhood at 11:00pm throwing M80's. Why yes I called 911. Police got them on the freeway.

You didn't want to throw 12-guage back at them?

Tonight is TAD's brother's wedding.

I was just informed that we purchased an $800 diamond necklace as a gift for the bride.

What kind of a diamond necklace can $800 possibly buy (even in Turkey)?

Hopefully the diamonds are just small accent pieces around something more elegant. Great if you were provided a picture and could share. I do know the Middle East has some beautiful gold jewelry mostly 18 carat. One caveat with 18 carat is it soft and dings easily.

I hope you're right.

On a separate note, his mother apparently noted that the $600 suit he bought in the US to wear to this affair is "poorly made."

I'm not saying she's wrong, it's not a great suit.  But it cost as much as 3/4 of a diamond necklace for something he'll only wear once.  😛

While driving thru a less than desirable neighborhood today, I decided to hit the McDonald's drive thru for some McNuggets.

While a coworker and myself were I enjoying our processed mystery meat, I see lady trying to earn a living. Pulled the car over to her, and asked how much for the both of us? And do you take PayPal?

She broke out in laughter and told us to GTF out of here. Less than a minute down the road, I get a text from a cop friend.......

Really Vig? PayPal? You made our day, It's been slow today with the rain and all. Lol.

Oops.....

I cut this out of the local paper in CO and placed it on the door to a business in the alley. We had witnessed an employee let their pooch relieve itself and the guy didn't clean up after it. Workers use that backdoor a lot and during the twelve days I was there no one removed the little flimsy paper sign. My brother told me days after I returned home it was still there. LOL!
