cv91915
It's decision time. Do I wash the sheets or endure them for seven more nights? I'm leaving next Saturday and the Maid Brigade will be here before I return. Edited September 15, 2018 by cv91915

What you don't mention is how many nights are on them now and whether anyone has done the nasty on those sheets

TAD was here for 7 of those. So 25 person-nights. I'm down to 6 nights remaining now, which makes the decision even more difficult.

So... well the maid brigade will be there soon to remove the stains and skid marks.

There'd be a serious problem in my house if my husband waited on me to wash the sheets. The washing machine doesn't have a biometric lock on it that only allows me to use it. The washing machine doesn't have a biometric lock on it that only allows me to use it. Before I was married I always washed my own sheets. At least weekly. And I made my own bed. First thing in the morning before did anything else (as everyone should do unless someone is still in it). Some of those things now fall to the stay at home Mom. And now my kid is in school from 0800 to 1455. So my sympathy meter therefore reads zero in that regard. In fact, I'd gladly do a couple more hours of chores weekly and have the wife get a job and add a second income to the household. 😂 Doing laundry amounts to putting the clothes in the washer. Adding some soap and vinegar. Pushing a button. And then swapping from the washer to the drier and pushing another button. Unloading the drier and cleaning the lint trap. I'll gladly help fold the laundry if I am present - and really that's the only part of doing laundry that takes any time or effort. The sheets actually now fall into "the cleaning lady throws them in the wash once a week and moves them to the dryer before she leaves" category. Otherwise they'd fall into the "whoever notices them" category and that would be somewhere between 7-10 days. We're both pretty good at starting loads and moving them over, we're both pretty bad at folding the laundry and putting it away. I would literally pay someone to come do all of that for us. And hubby makes the bed around me while I'm still in it, every morning because I WFH and thus get to sleep later. 🙄

cv91915
At 8:00 a.m. I placed on order for store pickup on W****t.com. Almost six hours later it still isn't ready. It's two items. Why did I do this, you ask? At 7:00 a.m. I got a targeted email offer from TopCashBack, offering an extra $5 off a $15 W****t purchase (and I needed paper towels and Ziploc® sandwich bags). cv91915
Last night: 7:00 pm : Filled out the room service breakfast order door hanger and hung it outside on the door handle, and requested 6:30 am delivery. This morning: 6:30 am: No breakfast 6:40 am: No breakfast 6:50 am: No breakfast Checked the door handle. Hanger wasn't there. Called the restaurant/room service extension. No answer. 6:52 am: Called the front desk for help. There is no breakfast on Sunday, only brunch in the restaurant beginning at 9, which is when I need to leave. This fact is apparently noted somewhere on the door hanger. Which they picked up. And then did nothing with.
