cv91915
The royal wedding and anything to do with it. Why won't it just go away? I'm vaguely aware of this. I misread the first couple of references I noticed online, which led me to believe that Megyn Kelly and Biz Markie were getting married. credit_help
Posting this before credit_help does No. You’re not that quick. I have not been online much because I don’t have my own internet or much time now. I have to find free WiFi or use my cellphone like I am doing now to get on the internet. :-) That’s not the newest Panasonic electric shaver. Last I checked it was not on Amazon. But, someone on eBay was taking orders for it. Costs around $470.

cv91915
Our electricity went out last night at around 8:00. Our home alarm system has a battery backup, which includes an awesome feature that causes it to beep five times every 90 seconds to make sure you are aware that the power is out. The beeping feature can only be defeated by mashing random commands into the keypad for about an hour and a half. The electricity finally came back on sometime after 1:00 am and fried my coffee maker.

minnie aubre
I am not sure where else to put this. I ordered a suitcase for my upcoming vacation. I got the tape measure out and measured my existing one and decided the 29" should be sufficient. It arrived today. Apparently, I am not very good at visualizing things. I was not expecting something big enough to transport bodies.

You're lucky if the measurements you saw online were accurate, even if you hate it anyway. One dimension that's rarely listed is the height of the handle when it's extended. I'm taller than average, and many bags don't have long enough handles for me to pull them around comfortably. The best place/time to buy quality luggage is at TJ Maxx/Marshall's when you don't need it quite yet. I always keep a spare Samsonite from one of those stores on hand. Supposedly the handle extends to two lengths, but I have only figured out one. The shorter one is fine since I am only 5'4". I went with TravelPro since I have one I bought 10 years ago that has held up quite well. Of course, today I see on TravelPro's clearance website another 29" (or so they say) on sale for 1/3 the price I paid. I am debating sending this back to Amazon and getting the cheap one. It is burgundy, which is not my favorite color. The one I got is a tan/olive color. Not my favorite, either, but it is not as offensive as burgundy. I probably should have just gone to TJ Maxx but that would require leaving the house. PS: I don't travel near enough to buy Tumi.

I would never spend the money on a Tumi bag that had to be checked due to size. Cosmetically, checked bags don't weather too many trips before they look trashy. I've also decided not to buy a Tumi carry-on bag, since occasionally carry-ons need to be gate checked on regional jets. I'm good with Samsonite. Maybe I should have asked you before I bought something. I have only had Atlantic and TravelPro. They appear to be the same company now. I normally just do carry-on, but this time I need to pack some nice clothes, more toiletries, and some shoe choices. If I was not a clothes hoarder, I could fit my whole closet in this thing. I ended up deciding to return the one from Amazon and instead bought one from TravelPro's outlet page. $80 with coupon. I am not sure if they are sending the merlot color or black, but for $80, I guess I don't care
cv91915
I made the mistake of buying a large piece of hard-sided luggage from Macy's made by a brand called Tag.On its first trip it survived eight days of constant movement within Italy and then five days in Barcelona, but as I was pulling into the lobby at the Andaz in Amsterdam a wheel completely cracked off. From there I had to drag my now-three-wheeler everywhere:- To the train station in Amsterdam and onto a train to Paris;- Between train stations in Paris to catch our next train to Milan;- Off the train in Milan onto another train to the MXP airport;- Into a taxi at MXP to our hotel nearby (poor logistics planning on my part since there is lodging right on the airport property);- Into the hotel shuttle back to MXP the following morning;- Through customs and then to re-check it at JFK;- From baggage claim in San Diego back to our house.Life's too short for sh1tty luggage.
