cashnocredit
Anything related to the creation or discussion of: -Mission Statements!! Mission statements are one of the larger wastes of time in business I have ever run across. Time and money spent on Logos is a close second. Also fixed in concrete business plans that should be trashed before they were made.

SparkyinCA
Anything related to the creation or discussion of: -Mission Statements!! Mission statements are one of the larger wastes of time in business I have ever run across. Time and money spent on Logos is a close second. Also fixed in concrete business plans that should be trashed before they were made. Oh Oh Oh! And Logos too! You are so right!! I watched and spent so much time in meetings listening to fricken' Marketing folks trying to decide exactly how an "L" should look they were trying to change for every retailer we had when we were making over $3b in sales each year.. Blood pressure is going up again!!..Need to calm down and be thankful I retired from stupid a** concrete business plans and endless mission statements every week of my working life. Can't believe how much time I wasted sitting in meetings about these two things...grrrrrr! Sorry CV...Thanks for letting me vent in your rant posting You saved me about a year of therapy to get over these traumas in my former working life! Love love love retirement! cv91915
I hate it when people say "cheaper." "Less expensive" conveys the idea of a lower cost for an identical item or service. To me, "cheaper" connotes inferior quality. Edited August 7, 2014 by cv91915

cashnocredit
It is what it is. WTF? Gf absolutely hates that phrase but then she spends time with quixotic activities. I don't. I use the expression when something is stupid and unproductive but can't be changed without undue time and energy if at all. cashnocredit
Then there is the word voyage into the philosophical: Rummy's classic which made fodder for many a stand up. ...there are known knowns; there are things that we know that we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns, the ones we don't know we don't know. I thought it perfectly clear though a long winded statement of the obvious.

cv91915
Injecting meat with useless water or "flavoring solution" and selling the product as meat. That hellhole W*****t is famous for this. I thought they'd peaked at 16% water... but no. I was just in the one near my house (I needed eyedrops, and Walgreens was out of the kind I use). I found this gem in the meat department... 30% water! Anyone who buys this is paying $4.92 a pound for the 70% that is meat, but also $4.92 a pound for the 30% that is water. 1 pound of water is 1 pint. There are 8 pints in a gallon, so 30% of the product is water at $39.36 a gallon.

cashnocredit
There's high end water too. Coconut Water. Yummy but too much can kill you. wiki In India, coconut water is traditionally used in the senicide of elderly family members known as Thalaikoothal. In this custom, the elderly person is given an extensive oil-bath early in the morning and subsequently made to drink glasses of tender coconut water in excess, which results in renal failure, high fever, fits, and death within a day or two.[11] Renal failure is the principal outcome of untreated coconut water-induced hyperkalaemia.
