I once worked across the ditch from Moline over in Davenport whose idea of a good time was a festival honoring some wino jazz musician who died in a drunken stupor.

I always figured you were into that auto-exotic torture thing.

I can't even chose where I live, so I have absolutely zero control over where my friends end up.  🤷‍♀️

At 8:00 a.m. I placed on order for store pickup on W****t.com.  Almost six hours later it still isn't ready.

It's

two

items.

Why did I do this, you ask?  At 7:00 a.m. I got a targeted email offer from TopCashBack, offering an extra $5 off a $15 W****t purchase (and I needed paper towels and Ziploc® sandwich bags).

I just got a text notifying me that my order is ready to pick up.  They'll hold it for me until September 28.

Will you be taking the DeLorean to pick it up?

It's decision time.

Do I wash the sheets or endure them for seven more nights?

I'm leaving next Saturday and the Maid Brigade will be here before I return.

I ultimately decided to sleep in filth for the duration.  Looking forward to fresh sheets when I get back.

I'm back and the sheets are clean.  :)

And now I'm leaving on Thursday, so the sheets will have about three weeks to air out before I have to confront them again.

At the moment its Florida ball stickage, along with some coworker who has a spouse with dietary issues, that aren't allergy related. More and more these days, there is always at least one in the group who sees to it that 99% of quality places to eat are ruled out. Mrs Vig says some people aren't happy if they aren't making everyone at a all inclusive corporate junket miserable.

There is a percentage of people with actual health-related dietary issues.

The rest are attention enthusiasts.

Generally speaking I'd rather have ball stickage than spend five minutes with the average vegan.

Gluten?

It's not gluten.......for a change. We've managed to weed out the ones with fake gluten allergies a few years back. The real ones, and we know who they are, are just fine with us.

In this case, it's an attention enthusiast. For Pete sake, my two resident practitioners of islam were looking forward to pork ribs this week. But nooo, some bonehead wrapped up in some new age BS sorcery and essential oils, has to try and ruin it for them too. Lol. Heck out resident jew, is asking why dont we just drop her and her husband off at the airport on our way to where the group wants to eat at.

HR will be involved before the week is out, I'm sure of it. It's been awhile anyways since me, Lipshitz, Achmed, and Patel, have had to endure diversity and inclusion training. Lol

I'm coming up on 10 years of diversity training at home from my Turkish spouse who claims to not like pork, except he loves bacon, ribs, pulled pork... and what he calls "drilled pork," because he can't remember the term "spiral-cut ham."

The neighborhood in which the Mud Hut is situated isn't densely populated enough for me to hear lawn mowers running constantly, and yet it seems like lawn mowers are running constantly during the day.

Maybe this is only happening in my head.

This morning is the first time this year I've noticed frost on the ground, on neighbors' roofs, etc.  :(

Number of days remaining in 2018 to endure atrocious weather:  12.  :)

What to people do with all of their extra time from dropping the final syllable and just saying "vacay"?

I can't stand shortening words and adding a vowel and then an "ie" to the end.  Here the word is "Baddie" rather than derogatory (or Derog or simply Bad).  In my vintage stereo hobby an example is "Yammie" rather than Yamaha.

I've got a vintage Macintosh. Love the glow of tubes. Hell while I'm at it, the blue dials on my Marantz stuff is so fuq'n cool.
