NASA just approved my car loan at 3.69% !! :clapping:

This after Tobyhanna turned me down, and DCU approved me at a whopping 11.49%

This is to purchase my truck at the end of its lease Aug 11th. Truck value is $29k NADA clean retail, and I owe $19.5k. EX score mid 600's. bk7 2007, and 68% utilization on cards :cry2::blush2:

Thanks. I'm in the process of cleaning reports and transferring some balances around. One of my cards hit the max while moving to another state to change jobs. I didn't realize it until it was too late. As things get better, I'll hopefully land on better balance transfer deals to help pay off my debt quicker. $9k of debt. Not too shabby but could be a heck of alot better, like $0.00. Shame on me

It can be done! I got my highest balance card (the one that didn't CO :blush2: ) down from about $8,000 to $200 over the past yearish. Good luck!

Thanks!

It helped that I got more stable employment. I put myself on a budget (with some fun stuff, but not much) and focused on building a smallish emergency fund. Once I had a few thousand saved up, I put all the extra towards that one card. Once I got my util down to about 25%, I alternated between adding towards my emergency fund and paying down that card. It worked for me (I wish there was a  emoticon).
