I'm pretty sure you're going to get a hard pull on EQ with Discover. I don't think doing it through Amazon changes anything other than the bonus.

If you want a card on the Discover network or the 5% categories, go for it.

That's your call to make. Worth is always highly subjective. I wouldn't app for any card just for an Amazon GC but YMMV.
