Does Barclays always report this fast?

So from my other thread, I was approved for a Barclays Rewards card over the weekend. I just checked and it's now reporting to all 3. Did I hit Barclays at just the right time or are they always this prompt in their reporting?

Yep, my Barclays rewards card that I was approved for last Wednesday is already reporting, even with me not having received the card yet. It showed up on Saturday.

Much faster than Cap 1. It took Cap 1 almost two months to report my card which I received in March.

I haven't received the card yet, I applied online over the weekend so I was surprised about it reporting already.

My QS1 was a PC from another Cap 1 card so it was already reporting. All my Cap 1 accounts are around 3 years old so I don't recall exactly how long they took to report.

Barclays has always reported on EX the next day for me, and on the other 2 within a couple of days.

GE is another one to watch out for - they often show up the next day on all 3. So hit these two on the last day of a spree (which ideally is also the first day).

Many CUs are very slow to report. In fact I have a PenFed card that's NEVER showed up on TU. Of course I've never complained because it's way younger than my pitiful AAOOA. :)

A Barclaycard trade line comes faster than a Yukon bear-trapper during his annual visit to the brothel.

LOL! That's a riot. I wonder if that had anything to do with the huge CLI I just got from Wal-Mart. I was bored and called UW and they almost quadrupled my limit.

I've found Barclays to report very fast. But FIA and BofA even more quickly. CLI's are reported in 24 hours in my experience. and that's not always a good thing if you didn't want the balance to report at that time...

Good to know. :)

how long did you have to wait for your qs1 card to report? It's been almost a month and mines still hasn't reported yet.

Both of my Barclays cards reported within 2 business days of approval. My Cap1 QS1 still hasn't reported after 6 months. lmao.

That may be a good thing for two reasons: Your AAOOA and the fact that any balance on that card is hidden...
