Well we do get a little snippy when someone posts a question that has been asked 1000 times before or when certain someones ... not mentioning any names.... make a bazillion seamingly pointless threads. :)

Bless you,

I can only speak for me, but I can tell you that I was a caustic reprobate when my scores were in the 600s and 700s, so now that I'm in the 800s I don't know exactly how I'd be anything but who I have always been. I come from a long line of snobs and drama queens.

You meet all types of people in life, and you can choose to ignore those with whom you don't identify (for any reason of your choosing), or you can opt to never leave the house, turn on the computer or answer the phone.

My life is richer with all types of people in it, because I can discern what I want to consume and what I wish to filter out.

This post right here is exactly why I adore you, dude. ;)
I kinda took the high road for a change. I wanted to just say, "Sticks and stones can break my bones..." Then I decided I was no longer 7 years old. :P
IMHO, you could yourself a tad more credit -- and by "tad more credit", I'm thinking along the lines of a Cap1 CLI. (kidding on that part...but this next stuff is the straight dirt:)

For someone so proud of his crappy attitude, you have a gift for discerning the better times to trade in your opaque mask for one a lil more translucent (notice I didn't say take off the mask) and travel the High Road.

Be careful...you just might screw up and evolve past your lineage of snobbery and theatrics.

Marry me.
 Would the Turkish Princess and I get along...?? And 5 cats in one home is a bit excessive.[b/B:dntknw:

Besides, let's not confuse my pity with affection...I'm just a sucker for the underdog.

I stand up for those who are being bullied.

I just happen to be more drawn to those who are clearly victims of self-bullying. ;)

5 cats is excessive

I think we have 10.... Binky a.k.a. Bianca, Lucky, Casper, Snowball, Snowflake, Missy, Little Sissy, and Goldie a k.a. Goldielocks... O-K, it's 8 now. Hemi and Mambo died. So it's down from 13... Angel died too, (11,) and Little Kitty and Duke noved in with my sis.

Cheer up, Princess Buttercup.

I'm seriously reconsidering.

And here's why: NFCU threads aren't going to disappear.

You need a way to join.

There's that $80k Flagship in it for cv.

All of CB hears a little less kvetching.

I've sworn off getting new cards with a < 2% rewards structure and limited redemption options. And new CU relationships. And 5318008.

Suit yourself. :dntknw: Since TX doesn't recognize your existing nuptials, you might get away with double dipping. Think of the tax break. :P

2014 taxes are horrible enough. I can't imagine mixing in a cat lady.

Already:

Joint federal return including foreign assets and foreign income.

Joint CA return (me full-year, TD part-year)... or do we file in CA as married/filing separately, with me as a full-time resident and TD only part of the year?

Individual partial-year Mudland return (TD only, or can I file too? Our marriage isn't recognized there either, but we have property taxes and mortgage interest deductions on our jointly-owned home there.).

I don't think we'll be using TurboTax®.
